The community has a business district and parks along the Oswego Canal, including Lock Island Park and Henley Park, which contains the historic Bride House Museum’s showcase of village and canal system artifacts. A June Strawberry Festival and July 4 fireworks bring the community together in the village each summer, and the shopping and entertainment of the City of Syracuse is only a half hour drive south.
