Overview

Nestled within the town of Schroeppel, the village of Phoenix is a small canal community situated on the eastern shore of the Oswego River. A small village, Phoenix offers a lot to visitors in the way of aquatic activities, scenic walkways and historical sites, as its location played a key role in the French and Indian War. The village was founded in 1846 and is located in the southwestern portion of Oswego County.
