OverviewPrimarily zoned for residential and agricultural use, the town of Oswego has a lot in the way of freshly grown foods to offer. Located just outside of the city of Oswego, the town’s rolling farmlands provide a reprieve from cluttered cityscapes, with farm stands popping up throughout it in the summer months. The town is also home to the State University of New York at Oswego, which owns Rice Creek Field Station – a 400 acre piece of land preserved for student research and public enjoyment. Matured hardwood and pine forests, as well as creeks, ponds and fields are all housed at Rice Creek, with three trail options available for those looking to spend some time off the grid. |
