Overview

Barely more than 15 minutes east of Oswego and 45 minutes north of Syracuse, the small town of New Haven sits near the shore of Lake Ontario. Like many Oswego County communities, New Haven locals and visitors alike enjoy a range of outdoor activities, especially hunting and fishing. The town, which has less than 3,000 residents, also features a weekly farmers’ market. New Haven is along scenic state Route 104 and only 10 to 15 minutes from Selkirk Shores State Park, the Salmon River and Port Ontario.
