Overview

The Town of Hannibal is a rural farming community that sits in the western part of Oswego County just a short drive from the cities of Fulton or Oswego. The town offers hunting opportunities, and fishing in nearby Lake Ontario and the Oswego River. The Village of Hannibal sits in the western part of the town, and boasts a recreation area that lies along the banks of Nine Mile Creek. A grocery store, pharmacy and several other restaurants and shops serve the community. Hannibal makes up part of the county’s western and southern borders with Cayuga County, and shares a border with the town of Oswego in the north and town of Granby to the east.
