It’s a short day trip to Albany, Rochester, Buffalo or anywhere along the shores of Lake Ontario. The town is bordered to the north by the town of New Haven and the town of Mexico. The town of Volney lies to the west, the town of Hastings to the east and the town of Schroeppel to the south. The area is part of the Mexico Academy and Central School District, and an elementary school is located within the town. SUNY Oswego, Cayuga Community College Onondaga Community College, and several other colleges and technical schools are within a half hour commute.
