Nestled on the shores of Oneida Lake, the town of Constantia contains the villages of Constantia and Cleveland, founded in 1836. Taft Bay Park on the lake features facilities for swimming, picnicking, baseball and tennis. A New York State Boat Launch just down the shoreline in Bernhards Bay can be used for access to Oneida Lake’s fishing, both ice and warm water.
Multiple trails stemming from the old railroad bed are perfect for hiking, bicycling, horseback and snowmobile riding. State Route 49 connects the town to Interstate 81, just a short drive north from the Syracuse metropolitan area.
